The charger instantly adjusts its mode during vehicle startup, guaranteeing no harm to your starter battery. For smart alternator vehicles, connect the included IGN signal wire for proper operation.

【4-Stage Smart Charging – AGM/GEL/Flooded/LiFePO4】 Renogy Rego DC battery charger delivers a complete 4-stage charging algorithm (Bulk → Boost → Float → Equalization) optimized for your battery type. The DC to DC charger 12V automatically selects the ideal profile via front-panel button. LiFePO4 batteries use Bulk + Boost only – float and equalization are disabled for lithium safety. LiFePO4 must have a built-in BMS.

【Compact Wall-Mount – Corrosion-Proof & Safe】The Renogy Rego 20A DC-DC battery charger features a second-generation wall-mount design with corrosion-resistant construction – suitable for boat cabins and humid environments. Its internal layout keeps input and output terminals safely spaced to prevent short circuits. Note: Not waterproof – mount in a dry, shaded location away from water and direct sunlight.

【Complete Electronic Protection】 DC to DC LiFePO4 charger adopts advanced protection against overload, short circuits, over-temperature, over-voltage, and reverse polarity. In high-temperature environments, it intelligently reduces output power for safe and efficient charging.

【Bluetooth Monitoring – BT-2 Sold Separately】Add the BT-2 Bluetooth module (sold separately) to adjust charging current (20A ↔ 10A), monitor real-time data via the Renogy DC Home app, and access up to 365 days of historical logs. Ideal for long cable runs – reduce to 10A to prevent voltage drop.

› See more product details

https://purrosa.com/products/renogy-rego-12v-20a-dc-dc-battery-charger-with-cold-start-multi-stage-for-lithium-agm-gel-batteries
