As For The Tail Knob:

Left/right Elevation: Use allen wrench to turn side screw clockwise and counter-clockwise to adjust.(Do not OVER TIGHTEN)
Up/Down Elevation: Use allen wrench to turn bottom screw clockwise and counter-clockwise to adjust.(Do not OVER TIGHTEN)
Mounting & Removal
Steps 1
Use included screw driver to loosen and remove the rail camp bolt (anti-clockwise)
Steps 2
Anti-clockwise.
Steps 3
Slide the unit into the rail located under the barrel , then align the hole for the clamp bolt with the open key slot of your railing system.
Steps 4
Re-insert and tighten the rail clamp bolt to lock into place(clockwise)
