Always Ready, Always On
MDS stands for Motion Deactivated Standby. Cyelee Optics products will NEVER have an automatic shut-off; they can only be turned off by holding the down/- button for 4 seconds. Once off, the optic can only be turned back on with manual button presses. While on, the optic constantly checks for movement. If it senses no motion for 5-7 minutes, it will enter MDS Mode. However, if it detects motion while in MDS Mode, it will display the red dot within a split second.
